    Missing contour tiles

Justin Gruca · 1 · Last reply by MapTiler Developers

We have noticed areas of the terrain map where it looks like there are missing contour tiles. Here's an example, where you can see the contours present on the right and then cut off on the left.:

    https://www.maptiler.com/maps/#topo//vector/13.09/-93.88099/41.68663

There seem to be a number of areas around central Iowa where the contours are not present. Hillshade data does not seem to have this problem.

I think Firefox now require CORS on JSON too.

Blocage d’une requête multiorigines (Cross-Origin Request) : la politique « Same Origin » ne permet pas de consulter la ressource distante située sur https://maps.tilehosting.com/styles/streets.json?key=.... Raison : échec de la requête CORS.

    License not recognized on reboot

I have a MapTiler Desktop Pro license and whenever I reboot my machine the software fails to recognize that it is indeed activated, leading me to have to contact support for them to deactivate the license so I may reactivate it.

    My specs:

    • MapTiler Desktop Pro 9.1
    • Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
    • License valid for a perpetual use on a single computer

Do let me know if there is other information that would be relevant!

Missing tiles & subdirectories after rending from maptiler plus

It appears as though my maptiler plus render isn’t creating the full set of subdirectories and respective tiles. For example, when choosing Web Apps Standard hosting and setting a zoom from 0 to 4, zoom level 3 only has subdirectories 1 to 5, but should also include subdirectories 6 and 7 as well, no? My understanding is that this is causing doubling artifacts because it’s trying to load and draw new tiles while holding on to the previous layers, but some of the tiles aren't loading because they're not there (please see attached). I've also attached the original geoTIFF file's

Wrong organisation showing on a Map Tiler map

See https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/65265634 This building is showing as "Citygate Church" in map tiler, despite having changed this to now being occupied by "Lovechurch", an anglican church. Why is MapTiler not updating/syncing with OpenStreetMap data? This was changed over a month ago.

Map is showing an incorrect organisation at a map location

How do you correct an incorrect organisation showing at a Map Tiler map location? The map data is correct in OpenStreetMaps, and apparently MapTiler uses their maps, but MapTiler's maps are out of date. How do I correct this?

    Bugged terrain for Cesium

Tomas Kavan · 2 · Last reply by Tomas Kavan

    Hello,

we've tried your free terrain for Cesium and it seems it does not take geoid into account - as if source DEM heights were interpreted as ellipsoidal heights instead of orthometric heights (above geoid, which is what DEMs usually contain). As a result, using the terrain with any georeferenced data (e.g. 3D Tiles) results in gaps or the dataset being under the terrain - see attached screenshots and experiment below. Our setup: Maptiler terrain + our 3D Tiles -> gap Cesium terrain + our 3D Tiles -> OK Maptiler terrain + our 3D Tiles shifted by ellipsoid/geoid difference-> OK (our

Georeferencing with a world file via command line doesn't work

GDALINFO reports `bad application_id` on GeoPackage

Mike Bronner · 3 · Last reply by Jiri Komarek

When running `gdalinfo` on a geopackage created by MapTiler Desktop (Plus 10.0-788fb78a7d), it consistently reports:

    Warning 1: GPKG: bad application_id 0x47504B47 on '<filename>.gpkg'

    Here is the full output:

I am trying to resolve it on StackExchange (https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/306895/geoserver-exception-when-publishing-a-layer-based-on-a-geopackage-store) as well, but thought I would report it here as well to see if this is a known issue, or if there is a workaround/solution for this. The GeoPackage export is critical to my workflow, as it appears to be the only export option that is directly compatible with GeoServer.

Lost Georeference Data After Upgrade to 10.0-17

Mike Bronner · 3 · Last reply by MapTiler Developers

After upgrading and opening a TIFF that had been previously manually geo referenced with about 1200 reference points, it no longer loaded them in the new version, instead acting like I had not done any georeferencing with this image.

Test 1: Try Georeferencing In Different Files

    • I had 3 different test files, named 1870-1.tif, 1870-2.tif, and 1870-3.tif, each with previously existing manual reference data.
    • I made a few manual reference markers in 1870-3.tif and saved.
    • Then I opened 1870-2.tif and it asked me if I wanted to restore previous reference data. After saying yes, it restored the items from 1870-3.
